You May Have Heard it Referred to as a “Sugar Spray Tan”…that’s DHA

DHA, or dihydroxyacetone, is the active ingredient in spray tanning and is derived from sugar cane. It creates the brown hue by interacting with the amino acids in the skin. The percentage of DHA in the spray tanning solutions will determine the depth of tan that will be produced. This informative video from Norvell is an excellent portrayal of how this ingredient works to produce a gorgeous tan!

Keep in mind that your SprayChic Expert will assist you in determining which formula would be best for you. They will consider not only your natural skin tone, but also your comfort level with being darker than what you were today. She will chat with you about your day-to-day activities to help you decide if it would be ideal to choose the Accelerated or the Traditional SprayChic Airbrush Tan.

One more thing…we consider each of our clients a “walking billboard” for SprayChic. We don’t want you to be orange either.
