I’ve built and grown the brand from a little apartment to a now 1300 sq ft brick-and-mortar space with over 17,000 clients in our database.

I am proud to employ others and grow/represent the sunless industry. Spray tanning is essential to me as a redhead because of skin cancer is in my family. Equally important, my team and I can provide this service to others with the same concerns. Some have already battled skin cancer themselves or have loved ones that have.

I am incredibly grateful that my business survived the COVID pandemic; however, we are struggling due to inflation and lack of staffing. It has been so challenging to find employees, which has restricted the business from making the revenue we have in the past.

With the #skip5k, I would use the funds to pay my 2022 CAM reconciliation from my landlord. Producing the 2022 CAM reconciliation would be a huge relief and allow me to funnel the revenue toward payroll, marketing, and overhead. It would also support my landlord and their business as a developer in our town.

I am grateful for the opportunity to remain in business simply by having the support of my loyal clients. The challenge has been maintaining the service level (and not sacrificing our clients’ experience) to cope with inflation and the staffing shortage crisis.

Not only all this, but I am the Vice-Chairperson of the Wixom Downtown Development Authority. We are a Main Street community. I love that I relocated my business to this growing downtown because I saw the potential. I want to give back.
